This pretty much sums up my morning! I know it will get better but all I really want to do is snuggle back under the covers! Tilly (the dog) has the right idea. Since my day is going so well I am going to try the 100% organic "pit putty" today! Hmmmmm Can't hurt, right?

Always comes to my rescue. He has great ideas and always up for a good (or bad) argument! :) As you can see he had alot of help opening his stuff and we had a great dinner! We had a Mickey Mouse theme! (in honor of Emma) we blew bubbles, got temporary tattoos and even had a pinata. sorry no pics cuz I was holding the pinata! Cheers Dad! Love You!

Camo quilt
I've been making baby quilts for a while now. I love to use old chenille bedspreads. Sometimes the same thing over and over gets a little mundane. Well this quilt is the latest. My boss (owner of the salon) Christe wanted a quilt to send to her nephew. I asked her a little about the nephew and she said think of my husband..The first thing that came to mind was camouflage! he loves to hunt... I went on the hunt for fabric and here is the result. It is so cute And she loved it!

Favorite things
This is my latest favorite gift to myself! All organic! Absolutely fabulous smells. The lotion just glides on and no mess! You just put it where you want it.
A friend took one look at my hands and smeared it on.
These can be found here:

I also bought the lip balm in orange and it smells like you just rubbed orange juice on your lips! I am undecided on trying the "pit putty" Anyway....
Bubble and Bee has all sorts of products. Also sold in some Whole Food Stores. They will be opening a store in Trolley Square soon. Yea!

Coffee Filters ;)
Obviously it has been a slow blogging week..I got this email today and thought I would share with you all the things coffee filters are good for. :) good for a giggle or what the heck is she thinking.......
COFFEE FILTERS
Coffee filters ..who knew!
1. Cover bowls or dishes when cooking in the microwave.
Coffee filters make excellent covers.
2. Clean windows and mirrors. Coffee filters are lint-free so they'll leave windows sparkling.
3. Protect China.Separate your good dishes by putting a coffee filter between each dish.
4. Filter broken cork from wine. If you break the cork when opening a wine bottle, filter the wine through a coffee filter.
5. Protect a cast-iron skillet. Place a coffee filter in the skillet to absorb moisture and prevent rust.
6. Apply shoe polish. Ball up a lint-free coffee filter.
7. Recycle frying oil. After frying, strain oil through a sieve lined with a coffee filter.
8. Weigh chopped foods. Place chopped ingredients in a coffee filter on a kitchen scale.
9. Hold tacos. Coffee filters make convenient wrappers for messy foods.
10. Stop the soil from leaking out of a plant pot. Line a plant pot with a coffee filter to prevent
the soil from going through the drainage holes.
11. Prevent a Popsicle from dripping. Poke one or two holes as needed in a coffee filter.
12. Do you think we used expensive strips to wax eyebrows? Use strips of coffee filters.
13. Put a few in a plate and put your fried bacon, French fries, chicken fingers, etc on them.
Soaks out all the grease.
14. Keep in the bathroom. They make great "razor nick fixers."
And last but not least they are really good to use in your coffee maker!
Have a great Day!
